Mest-Up 2011

I was asked to design this A5 booklet for one of my old band mates who
was organising the MestUp tent at this years DF camp.

Mest-Up means "The term MESTUP is yet another one of the amazing
DF acronyms that you will come across, it stands for Mediation Education
Support Team Umbrella Project. MESTUP is a team of DFs who provide
Mediation and Peer Education on national and international Woodcraft

I was asked to design it in only black and white, and give some scanned
illustrations and left to it. One of the best and most fun design briefs I
have worked on.

I'm back.

I've been silent when it comes to keeping up with blog posting and
whatnot this summer, been really busy with WPC as well as working
hard on other stuff and being outside as much as possible riding as
much as I can and enjoying ale. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.

(Also you may be wondering who's in the photo above. she's called
Charlotte and she lives in my front garden. She is helping me
overcome my loathing of spiders by being one of the most awesome
creatures I have ever seen. Other day I saw her eat a wasp that was
literally twice the size of her. Fucking amazing lass.)

Update. With these windy conditions her web that was at least a
meter and a half across the garden was destroyed, and already she's
built a smaller one in a more sheltered corner. Clever Spider.
